I did it! I completed camp NaNoWriMo 2018! My goal was to write and publish a post every.single.day. of April and I did it. Woohoo! To celebrate I ordered this shirt, and I can’t wait to get it. This is the 3rd time I’ve taken part in this challenge, but the first time I’ve actually completed it. The reason I think I was able to actually do it was because I had a plan for a minimum of 30 posts, plus I was able to do extra posts like happy birthday to my mom, the bathroom remodel, 9 year anniversary, a couple of WestWorld reviews, and the good and bad of Avengers. These things pushed my challenge out from the end of April, but I’m okay with that. It also gave me lots of content within the first month. But truly, knowing that every day of the challenge I was going to have something to write about was crucial. It’s also set me up to be able to plan out around a week in advance for future blog posts, that way if like today I am sitting down and have an hour to write a post, I know exactly what I’m going to talk about.
During this challenge I also reached my first goal with this blog and that was 100 views. I reached it on Sunday and I am very happy. So thank you to everyone who has looked at my blog! Since I’ve reached this goal I’m going to start promoting my blog a little bit more on instagram and you can find me @dqnelson. Mostly I post pictures of the dogs but starting now, I’ll also be putting up daily what the blog post is about. Also I won’t post on there until I already have the post up. So anyways today’s is short, but tomorrow I’ll be talking about the cult world in tomorrow’s post about “Wild Wild Country.” A documentary series on Netflix. So come back for that!
